FREE INTERNET SERVICE PROVIDERS
Free Internet Service Providers
come in several varieties. Unlike the normal fee-based Internet
service providers, many of the free internet service providers
do not have elaborate sign-on screens to access
their system. You just need a web browsing software
(i.e.: Netscape, Internet Explorer, etc.) an account number,
a password and a local access phone
number. All except one have banner advertising on the initial
web browser. Most require you to fill out a demographic
survey form listing your age, income, interests, etc.
First Test the Free Service
(See Table)
We recommend you sign up with at
least two of the free services below. Only after you
(and other family members) have tested the service and
feel comfortable with it should you consider canceling
your existing fee-based service.
Canceling Your Old
Service
Once you cancel your old service, you
will loose your email address under that service. You
cannot carry the same email address to your new service.
Just like when you move, you need to tell all your
friends and family of your "new email
address". Don't forget to tell them about
1888USA.com when you
write!
Be advised that Email sent to your old email address
will not be forwarded to you after you
cancel.
We have limited the list
of free ISP's to the following minimum
requirements:
(1) No sign up or monthly service
fees;
(2) Local access numbers in 48+
States;
(3) Unlimited use 24 hour/7 days a
week;
(4) Provide free customer
support.
